The New Rules of Marketing & PR

Today we’re going to take a quick peek at David Meerman Scott’s masterful The New Rules of Marketing & PR.

Originally published in 2007 and re-published with updated content in early 2010, New Rules is a fantastic overview of how marketing is changing.

Whether you’re new to marketing or have been in marketing for 50 years, this book is perfect for you. If you’ve noticed that your more traditional marketing is no longer providing the ROI it once did, and you’re interested in reaching more prospects while saving on your budget, New Rules is definitely for you.

Have you read this or any other of Scott’s books?

Thanks for stopping by, David—and for the Twitter shout-out too.

I admit that the history aspect didn't pop out at me immediately, but as I was taking notes for the review, that theme floated into my mind. I'm relatively new to the marketing world, and I was glad that one of the first marketing books I read happened to contain a timeline of sorts. It's great to know where you are and where you're going, but it's pretty important to know where you you know not to go back there!

Thanks for the well-wishes. We're doing well and enjoying ourselves so far!
