BOERNE—McMillin Homes has been awarded the 2008 Summit Award for Best Website for a Builder by the Greater San Antonio Builders Association (GSABA). The site, located at http://sa.mcmillin.com, was designed and developed by Digett, a Boerne-based interactive media and marketing firm.
“Seeing one of our sites win an award like this is a wonderful honor” said Digett President Mark Figart, “and we're even more pleased with being able to work with a company like McMillin Homes. The website we designed for them reflects the quality and integrity that exemplify the company.”
The Summit Awards, given out by the GSABA each year to highlight excellence in the building industry, were handed out at a July 12 banquet at the Omni Hotel in San Antonio. The Best Website for a Builder award entries were judged on originality, concept, execution and overall effectiveness. McMillin also took home awards for Best Product Design and Best Interior Design/Merchandising.
The award also marks a mid-year triumph for Digett, which has previously worked on sites for local organizations like the Boerne Chamber of Commerce and Cibolo Nature Center as well as out-of-state groups like Arizona State University and the Kentucky Derby. In addition to website design and production, the firm provides full marketing services such as corporate identity and brand design, print design and production and marketing campaign management.
