Thanks for sharing, Mark! From my understanding, Jeff's approach might require up to six unique roles for a single site launch. I think the breakdown of tasks you cited does a good job of illustrating the variety of skills required to develop and theme a Drupal site. Clearly, the project is far more than a two-step process.
