There are quite a few caching options out there, and we frequently combine several services to cache every little piece of a site. Think about it: standard Drupal cache, Varnish, Memcache, Redis, various files coming from CDNs, and more.

Summer 2014 makes it one full year since we started our internship program, and in that time we’ve been privileged to work with talented students. We’ve got a record four great interns with us this summer, and we can’t wait to get them in here and working on projects!

Now a graduate from University of the Incarnate Word, I have obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with minors in Business Marketing and Art History. I didn’t think I would be bummed to get my degree but now that it’s summer my internship at Digett is coming to an end. I’m bummed to leave such an amazing company and employees who make Digett stand out. I’m trying to be optimistic and not focus on what I’ll be leaving, but instead on what I will offer my next employer from the things I have learned at Digett.

As my Spring internship at Digett comes to an end, I have been thinking about my time here and what it has meant to me. These past few months at Digett have been amazing, allowing me to grow as an individual and expand my professional experience. Digett’s work culture has influenced me to get the most out of my internship, pushing me to keep improving every day.
